Eligibility & Application for Honours Recognition

Please note that candidates are expected to choose and apply for only one of the two honours categories offered. Ensure the nominee meets the specific criteria for the chosen stream and that all required documentation, including letters of support and impact statements, is finalized before the published deadline.
- Category Selection: Select one of the two available honours streams (Global Outstanding Scholars Award or Global Outstanding Impact Award) that best represent the primary achievements of the nominee.
- Form Completion: Complete and submit the online nomination form in its entirety.
- Written Nomination Statement: Provide a written statement of approximately 500–600 words, meticulously aligned with the chosen award category.
- Demonstrated Impact: Clearly articulate the nominee’s direct impact on global education and student success. Where applicable, submissions are highly encouraged to include concrete outcomes, real-world examples, data metrics, or testimonials to substantiate the claim.
- Timely Submission: Ensure all required materials, including supporting letters and resumes (where applicable), are finalized and submitted prior to the published deadline.
- Universal Eligibility: Open to all individuals, institutions, and organizations worldwide. Eligibility is fully extended to all qualified candidates, regardless of their status as a DA Global partner.
Please Note: Incomplete applications or submissions that fail to meet these baseline eligibility requirements will not be advanced to the selection committee for review.
Category-Specific Requirements
- Final-Year High School Status: Current enrollment as a final-year high school student (or graduating senior) preparing for transition to higher education.
- Top-Tier Scholastic Achievement: A sustained record of peak academic performance, high class rankings, or success in rigorous, advanced coursework (e.g., IB, AP, A-Levels).
- Intellectual Curiosity: Active engagement in academic pursuits outside the classroom, such as independent research, olympiads, academic competitions, or honor societies.
- Global Educational Impact: Leveraging academic insights to mentor peers, foster cross-cultural collaboration, or address real-world global challenges.
- Validated Success: Concrete evidence of achievements backed by quantifiable metrics, awards, and strong institutional letters of recommendation.
- Final-Year High School Status: Current enrollment as a final-year high school student (or graduating senior) preparing for transition to higher education.
- Extraordinary Extracurricular Leadership: Exceptional initiative and leadership in non-academic pursuits, such as founding projects, heading student organizations, or leading sports, arts, or advocacy groups.
- Measurable Community Impact: A proven track record of driving positive, tangible change within their school, local community, or wider global society through service or innovation.
- Resilience & Problem Solving: The ability to overcome challenges, mobilize others, and find creative solutions to address real-world community needs.
- Validated Impact: Concrete evidence of their contributions backed by quantifiable results, project outcomes, or strong community/institutional letters of recommendation.
