Description

The Media and Journalism Club develops students’ability to research, write and communicate effectively. Members learn how to report stories, analyse current events and present information clearly and responsibly. The club builds strong writing, critical thinking and media literacy skills that are valuable across many academic and career paths.

The Media and Journalism Club helps students research, write, and communicate effectively while exploring current events and storytelling. Members build media literacy, writing, and critical thinking skills.

Project Structure:

  • Phase 1: Submit a research report or news brief on a local/global issue.
  • Phase 2: Develop articles, interviews, or multimedia content with the team.
  • Phase 3: Publish a final edition or presentation highlighting stories and analysis.

Teamwork & Leadership:

Team leaders coordinate content creation, deadlines, and final submissions.

Recognition:

Projects are evaluated throughout. The top team is awarded at the end of the year for journalistic quality, creativity, and teamwork. Certificates are provided for all members.
