International Medical Society

Description

The International Medical Society introduces students to careers in medicine and healthcare. Members explore medical fields, ethical issues, global health challenges and patient care through discussions, case studies and guided activities. Students gain early exposure to medical thinking, teamwork skills and a stronger understanding of what it takes to pursue medicine at university level.

International Medical Club

The International Medical Society helps students explore medicine and healthcare through interactive activities, case studies, and discussions. Members develop medical knowledge, critical thinking, teamwork, and problem solving skills while learning about real-world healthcare challenges.

Project Structure:

  • Phase 1: Research a medical topic or case study and submit a proposal.
  • Phase 2: Develop a practical project or presentation demonstrating solutions or insights.
  • Phase 3: Final submission of the project with reflection on learning and teamwork.

Teamwork & Leadership:

Students are divided into teams, with each team appointing a leader to coordinate tasks and ensure progress.

Recognition:

Projects are evaluated at each phase. At the end of the year, the team demonstrating the most creativity, effort, and collaboration is awarded the International Medical Club Winner, with certificates issued to all members.
