Description

The Law Society helps students understand the foundations of law, justice, and legal systems around the world. Members develop critical thinking, debate, and argumentation skills while exploring topics such as human rights, criminal law, and international law. Participation builds confidence, analytical ability and awareness of legal careers.

Law Club

The Law Society allows students to explore legal systems, justice, and ethical issues through debates, research, and case studies. Members build analytical, argumentation, research, and communication skills.

Project Structure:

  • Phase 1: Analyse a current legal issue and submit a research brief.
  • Phase 2: Conduct debates, role plays, or mock trials within teams.
  • Phase 3: Final project presentation evaluating legal solutions and ethical reasoning.

Teamwork & Leadership:

Teams with designated leaders guide the workflow and coordinate submissions.

Recognition:

Teams are evaluated after each phase, with an end of year winner recognised for excellence in analysis, creativity, and teamwork. Certificates are awarded to all participating students.
